Certificates of Deposit
In 2001 Bank Evrofinance issued its first bearer certificates of deposit. Its CDs are issued in the Russian Roubles and may be bought only by a legal entity, either a resident or a non-resident of Russia. Certificates of deposit – like promissory notes – are frequently used as collateral under guarantees and loans.
